It’s important for us to be very honest that our ability to handle conflict as a human species is absolutely abysmal. This ineptitude WILL lead to the destruction of the human species if we simply continue as is.
When we aren’t able to integrate with the perspectives of our adversaries and enemies, and we are stubbornly fixed on simply rationalizing our point of view, we’ve lost.
On the world stage, if two or more forces are committed to mutual destruction, and are capable of ensuring that their will triumphs at the cost of each other, then there is no result possible but our annihilation.
Sorry to share the bad news.
But there is hope.
And that hope is in our steadfast commitment to the Golden Rule. We CAN do this. We must commit to love our enemies as ourselves, which we feel starts with mapping out their perspectives.
