We assume things have to be a certain way, or we need to have certain things, to be fulfilled.
Beauty, age, wealth, houses, clarity, poise, happiness, relationships, wisdom, health….whatever it is.
We think we need these things to fulfill our role on this planet.
But I actually find such a perspective can discourage us. They can discourage us from seeing the responsibilities and opportunities right in front of us… what we need to be doing now.
The above things are all good…but we don’t need them. They might be an expression of our fulfillment, but we don’t need them for fulfillment.
All we need to express our value in this moment is already within us right now.
