We can’t talk about persons without distinquishing between singular and plural. This is done with the symbol *pl. Below is a comparision between singular and plural:

Singular and plural are stratightforward concepts. However, it’s important often to have a specific number. Below is an extension to Wilber’s initial outline in his IMPP website — changing *pl to an actual number: Three examples:
1p*3: the three of us
2p*8: the eight of you
3p*12: the twelve of them (e.g. all the members of the Presidential Cabinet)
To get even more specific, we can pluralize the internal and/or external dimension of who we are. For example:
1p*3(1p): a shared vantage point all three of us share
(e.g. my family’s shared faith in Jesus Christ)1p(1p*3): three separate vantage points I have
(e.g. dissecting a situation through three different wisdom paradigms)2p*3(1p): the three of you, and you shared vantage point

By identifying singular and plural, as well as number, we are able to more precisely identify what is a shared point of view among different people, or different points of view within one person. This provides a much more granular understanding of individuals and persons.
