Having Direction

Posted on February 2, 2017April 19, 2023 by Perspective Mapper

Having a sense of direction is perhaps the cornerstone of a happy life. However, there are some misconceptions about what this means.

Having direction is much more than having visible goals or plans.

Having direction is much more than meeting expectations others have for us.

Having direction is much more than pursuing what appears to be an established, good, and noble path.

Rather, having direction means we are clear what is guiding us.

When we are intimately aware of what we’re doing, why we’re doing, and how it connects to our evolution as a soul, we’re able to have true direction in our life.

This does require some self-reflection, which includes mapping out our thoughts, feelings, and natural propensity.

These might not be measurable, might not be visible, and meet even seem to be illogical.

However, this direction defines what it is to live.
