Perspective Mapper welcomes partnerships and alliances with parties that deeply connect with this work.
The main prerequisite is that each partner feel they are naturally proactive towards working on and naturally curious towards exploring what we’re doing together.
Types of Alliances

These can include:
- Distribution channels for our sessions and workshops
- Promotion of content and principles
- Collaborative working on apps, bots, and content
- Liaising / networking contacts with one another
- Sharing insights and inspiration with each other
- Providing funds to explore perspectives in a given domain
Principles

- I am very supportive of open source, open data.
- By default, I consider whatever we create together non-proprietary, non-exclusive when it comes to content, contacts, insights or technology.
- By default, I expect likewise.
- The two requests:
- I invite you to point back to my site, and I will do the same, if we feel inspired to do so.
- we don’t make what we together share proprietary, exclusive from others.
- Specific terms and considerations can be spelled out as appropriate.
Work Hygiene

- Daily Log (2-3 min / day)
- This contains a checklist of things to do each day, as well as tracking what we did, what we planned, and sharing our perspectives along the way.
- Central Hubs:
- Shared repository for notes, docs, tasks, along with website.
- Blocked Hours – Work & Availability (# / week):
- Committed work time informed by 30 days history.
- Time blocked for general availability as well as active work.
- Could be public or private, depending on terms of project.
- Meetings still apply (varies)
- Some frequency of meetings, whether 1/week or 1/month (in person or remote)
- Meetings start/end on time (15m grace)
Assessment is based on past 30-90 days, with the target of 80%+ consistency. We set a trial period if needed. This ensures our decisions are based (not speculative), but also gives space to reinvent ourselves.
Of course, there’s the issue of the ACTUAL work being done. But with these four simple structures in placce, I see projects are far more likely to proceed and progress The ideal is not perfection. It is steady progress.
