We just witnessed arguably the ugliest debate in the history of presidential debates in the US, with some of the most vitriolic insults, accusations and utter contempt for one another I’ve ever seen.
What does that indicate about mankind and our advancement as a human species?
How come we aren’t able to reconcile the differences between different views and simply have a healthy, honest discussion among two leaders?
Is the answer to cultivating true, mutual human respect achievable through even further research and development in the sciences, arts, humanities, psychology and business?
Or is something so basic to humanity simply not being taught, let alone acknowledged, in the way our society is structured?
